Many beginner & intermediate volleyball players ask me about how to play defense. Where should I line up? How do I read the hitter? What is the correct footwork? These are all good questions and you can work on all of these with 1 simple drill. Just grab two friends and you’re good to go!

REMINDER: Defense is all about desire. We miss 100% of the digs we don’t go for. When we guess (aka: cheat) on defense, a good hitter will see and hit away from you. Get stopped and go for the ball. Stop picking and choosing which shots you go for and make a move for EVERY ball. It will pay off in the long run!
